I thought PC Graphix only offered professionally managed website design.: True. PC Graphix has and will continue to develop professionally managed websites for clients that prefer that level of service (e.g., all website changes are performed by PC Graphix and thus incur maintenance costs). However, for every call I receive for a professionally managed website, I receive 10 calls from potential customers looking for a lower cost design & maintanence solution. I've been evaluating possible solutions for years but never found a suitable solution until now...the Maintain-It-Yourself™ website is THE SOLUTION.
Couldn't I just use a D-I-Y template-based website service such as Homestead, Yahoo or Godaddy?: I evaluated numerous template-based web design services, including Homestead, Yahoo, and Godaddy, but was deeply disappointed in them all. In all cases, you must start from scratch by choosing from a canned selection of overused templates to base your website upon. None of these services offered any significant degree of customization. Therefore your website ends up looking just like thousands of other websites based on that same template design. These services also subsidize their costs by running advertisements on YOUR website.
